The Chartered Insurance Institute Middle East appoints new Goodwill Ambassadors
Kerem Erberk (Turkey) and Khaldoun Martinez (Qatar) are appointed as CII Goodwill Ambassadors - Middle East
CHARTERED INSURANCE INSTITUTE MIDDLE EAST APPOINTS NEW GOODWILL AMBASSADORS
Dubai, UAE – February 08, 2022: The Chartered Insurance Institute, Middle East, is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Goodwill Ambassadors who will represent the Dubai-based organisation in Turkey and Qatar respectively.
Kerem Erberk is Deputy Chief Executive at Anadolu Sigorta in Turkey. A graduate of Middle East Technical University, he boasts two decades of experience in the insurance sector. Kerem holds a diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute and is Vice Chairman of the Non-Life Strategy Committee of Insurance of Turkey.
Khaldoun Wakil Martinez is Vice President of Marsh in Qatar, his career seeing him hold a wealth of senior positions in both Syria and Qatar. Khaldoun has an Advanced Diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute, with his former qualifications including an MBA from Durham University and a Bachelor of Science from Lalakia University in Syria.
Karem and Khaldoun join five other CII Middle East Goodwill Ambassadors who represent KSA, Bahrain, UAE and Oman, communicating with local businesses, advocating the importance of professional qualifications and sharing best practice to influence sector frameworks.
Khaldoun Wakil Martinez comments: “I am delighted to be assisting the CII in their drive to raise professional standards across the GCC. In Qatar, the sector’s professionals will strongly benefit from obtaining globally recognised professional qualifications and an adherence and commitment to best practice. I am very pleased to be spreading that positive message.”
Kerem Erberk adds: “I will be using my contacts and networks to enable the CII to increase its communications and outreach with the sector in Turkey. There is a definite requirement for professional qualifications that will boost the sector’s reputation and I am really looking forward to making a positive contribution.”
