The Chartered Insurance Institute, Middle East, is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Goodwill Ambassador who will represent the Dubai-based organisation in Kuwait.

Abdullah Jawad Saleh

Abdullah Jawad Saleh, who holds an Associateship (ACII) with the CII, is a Senior Insurance Analyst at Kuwait Integrated Industries Company (KIPIC). He has also held Underwriter positions at Gulf Insurance Group and Kuwait Reinsurance Company. His position as a Goodwill Ambassador, a voluntary role, will see him assisting the CII’s Middle East international team in promoting the CII’s qualifications and professional standards in order to build public trust in the region’s insurance sector.

He joins five other CII Middle East Goodwill Ambassadors who represent KSA, Bahrain, UAE and Qatar, communicating with local businesses, advocating the importance of professional qualifications and sharing best practice to influence sector frameworks.

Abdullah Jawad Saleh comments: “The CII is the landmark in terms of enhancing knowledge in the global market; the organisation enlightens people about insurance and guides them towards the right path when doing business in the sector, and I am very pleased to be supporting them in their mission, where I anticipate my experience, skills and network can make a positive contribution.”

Gaenor Jones, Regional Director of the CII, Middle East comments: “ We are delighted to welcome Abdullah, who will represent the CII in Kuwait, where regulation continues to evolve, and where the Insurance and Financial Planning professions can gain massive benefit through an alliance with the CII.

“We consider our GWAs invaluable in espousing our professional code of ethics, and conveying the values and benefits of attaining professional qualifications and accreditation through an internationally recognised organisation.  As an ACII accredited member of the body, Abdullah understands at first hand the benefits of membership and the value that CII qualifications bring to a professional career in Insurance and Financial Planning. He will use that knowledge and experience to successfully boost our endeavours in Kuwait.”
