Rev. Asante Marfo-Ahenkora biography

Reverend Asante Marfo-Ahenkora is the President of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana. He is also a Past President of the Ghana Insurance Brokers Association and has served on various insurance sector councils and committees which include sitting on the board of Ghana Insurance College and GIBA Energy Ltd.

Since 2002 he has been the Managing Director of insurance brokers, Tri-Star Insurance Services Ltd having joined in 1999 as an assistant general manager. Asante is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana and has achieved Chartered Insurance Broker status. He also holds an Executive MBA in Project Management and a BSc in Administration from the University of Ghana.

He started his insurance career with Ghana Union Assurance as a superintendent in 1991, rising to the position of manager of the marine and liability department. Asante also serves as a senior pastor at the Narrow Gate Cathedral of ICC, Accra, Ghana.
