CII CPD event accreditation
CPD event accreditation is a formal quality kite-mark and evidence of achieving a set standard. The accreditation can be awarded where we find that your event's content is of a sufficiently high standard to contribute to CII members' CPD. Events must be free of product bias.
CII accreditation is not a requirement for participants to claim CPD hours under the CII CPD scheme. However, it does provide formal recognition, valuable external benchmarking, tangible business benefits and allows providers to advertise their event as attracting CII CPD hours for attendees.
Benefits of CII CPD event accreditation
CPD event accreditation will:
- Allow you to use the 'CII accredited event' logo for event branding and literature
- Assist in demonstrating the value of attending your event to potential delegates
- Add gravitas from formal endorsement of the event by the CII with the wording 'This event has been accredited by the CII and can be included as part of your CII/Personal Finance Society CPD requirement should you consider it relevant to your professional development needs'
- Give you the option of adding the event details to the CII website
You will need to be able to confirm that your event(s) meet the CII CPD accreditation standards (PDF).
Quality assurance
Our quality assurance process requires that you provide a copy of delegate feedback and copies of any documentation provided to delegates. This can be provided after the event has taken place.
Please note that we may occasionally send an assessor to an event – we will give you prior notification.
