Unit 590

Testing Position

• Examinations are based on the published syllabus. Syllabuses are available free of charge on the CII website www.cii.co.uk or on request.
• The general rule is that the exams are based on the English legislative position six months before the date of the exams.
• The 590 examination consists of 8 compulsory questions worth a total of 48 marks, 1 compulsory question worth 38 marks and 3 questions selected from 5 worth a total of 114 marks.
• 3 hours are allowed for this examination.
