New Generation Programme

Do you want to be part of the biggest project of your career? The professional body’s flagship talent New Generation programme offers 40 upcoming professionals the ability to improve the profession by working together on a project and presenting it to the CII’s board.

We are calling for future leaders in claims, underwriting, broking, and the London Market to apply to take part in the New Generation programme.

Designed to complement existing company talent programmes, the year-long programme will provide group members with a range of learning opportunities, including:

  • An interactive session with key personnel from regulatory bodies
  • Talks from Members of Parliament and lobbying organisations in the insurance sector
  • Training on subjects such as leadership and handling the media

Each group will also be asked to identify and complete a project or initiative that it believes could make a difference to the insurance profession and present this to the board. Typically taking around six months to complete and involving collaboration amongst group members across the country, these projects are both challenging and rewarding.

An example project from the New Generation programme is Exploring Public trust in Technology & Data which was produced by the claims team of 18/19. To find more examples of past projects please click below to the past projects page.

In addition to this, the programme includes several informal networking opportunities.

If you think you’ve got what it takes, apply today and don't miss the opportunity to be part of something truly unique.

Applications for the 2021/22 programme are now closed.
