Membership is open to anyone working in or connected to insurance.
The membership journey is outlined below and will help you decide which level is the right fit for you.

If you’ve not started studying yet, or you’re studying towards your first CII qualification.
|Ordinary membership||For holders of our Award qualification and those studying for their first qualification with us, or those interested in enjoying the benefits of membership.|
|Ordinary membership (Award)||For holders of CII international Award level qualifications|
A series of levels to recognise your learning and experience.
|Certificate||For holders of CII Certificate level qualifications|
|Diploma||For holders of the CII Diploma in Insurance|
|Associate||For holders of CII Advanced Diploma in Insurance|
|Fellow||For holders of CII Fellowship, the CII’s highest membership level|
|Chartered||For holders of the CII Advanced Diploma or Fellowship with at least five years' sector experience (not necessarily post qualification)|
